50 TON TANK BROUGHT WITH ECOVISIO AND GEF - UNDP SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM SUPPORT

In the context of the latest climate change, this year's drought was damaging and devastating. We decided to act and look forward for solutions.
Thanks to EcoVisio and the GEF - UNDP Small Grants Program, we managed to bring to Riscova a tank with a capacity of 50 tons, which will be used as a rainwater tank, connected through gutters to the roof of the building of the first agri-food incubator in Republic of Moldova, Katalyst Kitchens.

We will be able to put in place an ecological mechanisms for responsible water collection, storage and use, and of course we will demonstrate that at the Eco Village farm in Riscova there is such an adaptation, currently absolutely necessary to prevent the damage of climate change affecting agricultural production.

Valeria Șvarț-Gröger, executive director of the Katalyst Public Association, remarked: "The importance of supporting Katalyst Kitchens is vital for the continuity of the first agri-food incubator project. We are very grateful to those who support us, who believe in us and motivate us."
Katalyst Kitchens received financial and material support during the project, which promises to be completed in 2021.
